More Kasumiga-ura Pearls で、
3月、4月の最新の浜揚げの最新の写真とカスミとかカスミガウラと呼ばれる淡水真珠の話題があがってました。
「興味深いことに、2，3年前はパープル・ピンクの明るい色の真珠だったが、今は深いパープルがあるのに気づいた。」
というような書き込みでした。
Hi Guys, Just wanted to put up some new pictures of the latest harvest March-April of the new Kasumiga-ura’s – Kasumi’s as many are calling it here. It’s interesting to notice with each harvest the colors seem to vary. About 2-3 years ago, the “good” colors;the purples and pinks were lighter, now you can notice that there are some very “deep purple”ish colors emerging again.
以前にも書いたように思うのですが、霞ヶ浦水系で採れる、淡水真珠は、高品質なため、海外ではカスミガとかカスミとか呼ばれているのですね。
深いパープルの色もなかなか良いですね。
